Web developers are the ones who code to develop a technical piece of stuff which is then displayed over the Web using HTTP Protocol. Web Designers are completely different from Web Developers. For example A web designer has a knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Basic HTML to convert the PSD file into HTML, and also CSS but most of the case they concentrate on PSD and HTML. For as a Web Developer looks after the dynamic behaviour of the design (created by web designer) and SERVER-SIDE process using advanced language such as PHP, MySQL, Perl, Python etc. So when it comes to web server there are lot of options available out there but the major ones are Linux, Windows.

Linux is the most used web server from all around world. So it is essential for a web developer to learn Linux.

I hope you might have guessed what I am discussing today Yes I will be discussing on the importance of Linux for a Web Developer.

I started coding or developing websites from 2009 when I was 19 years old and have gained a lot of experience over the last 3 years in my
work and technology which we rely on. As all does i did start coding basically in a windows machine and finally I have settled down with
Linux operating system. Well my favourite distribution which i use is Fedora (Red hat based) in laptop and Windows7 Ubuntu (Debian based) in Desktop.

I guess many of you developers has experienced this drastic change in their day to day coding life. Well I am here to discuss my experience
as a developer which i faced during these years that might benefit you in some or the other way.

One alternative to fixing the Read More link is to post the contents from the broken link to the bottom of this article.
