I just got mandrake 10.0 running but ProFTPd isn't accepting connections. I enabled it though the mandrake control center (or whatever it's called) and nmap shows port 21 open, but if I do "ftp localhost" I get:

Connected to localhost.
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

I have the securing level set to "high". Do I need to lower this maybe. ssh logins wouldn't work until I lowered the security level from "highest" to "high"....
