SLAX Livecd 'x' not working
I am using the 'SLAX Live CD' which alows me to see what Linux is like. It works fine, until i enter 'gui','guifast', or 'startx'. It loads to the 'desktop' with the background but there are no icons or apps.
Is there a script i should enter?
Thanx in advance.
VVVVVV
EDIT:
in 'X'window, i now see the menu and when i right click, all the stuff is listed.
BUT, i select them and nothing happens, almost like no apps are there, just the text. Help please.

It depends what window managers that live cd comes with. try "startx gnome" or "startx kde" to see if one of them is included.
Edit: upon further investigation it turns out that all you have to do to get help with your problem is type "gui --help".
You really should read the documentation on the slax website before posting such a question.

I get to xwindow, but no apps will load when i select them, not even the calculator.
