    XMMS plugin install help

    Im having some trouble figuring out how to install this plugin i got for XMMS, as im new to the program. The plugin comes as a makefile and a C file, so i ran make, and it outputs an .so file (libpitch.so). Now i have no clue where to place the file to make it show up in XMMS. I tried putting it in the same directory as i saw some of the other plugins in, but it doesnt show up in XMMS.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Try putting it in your ~/.xmms/Plugins.
