what distro?
was it an rpm?
was it from a source file?
you need to answer those questions before any specific info can be given

ok
i use RH 7.3
i just downlad a calender.xpi and go to mozilla and write file:///wherefilesis/calender.xpi thats all
i know it is a language confliction .i am sure but how can i uninstall it?Just a Newbie....Looking 4 Info....

was it a source file or an rpm?
you can look in the package manager to uninstall it or you can open the term and uninstall rpm's
rpm -e filename

just an xpi file
its not a source or rpm file just an xpi file.i dont know what is it but it is so....

try looking in your mozilla folder and see if the file is there.
could be /usrlib/mozilla
or usr/local/mozilla
or (set it to see hidden directories)
home/user/.mozilla
if it is just an xpi file then you might just be able to be move it and then restart mozilla and see if it is gone.

I v learned that there is no way to uninstall XPI's other than themes...

that sux, you could install mozilla 1.3 if you don't have it and get rid of your previous version which should eliminate your problem, of course you might not be able to import your settings from the previous version because it would duplicate the same problem. You would just have to manually copy your bookmark file to the new location.

hmm
I beat it by this way..
First i found the right xpi file for my Mozilla (for wright language) then i install it..so it (i think) overwrites the older one and now there s no problem..thx everyone...Just a Newbie....Looking 4 Info....
