I'm trying to install xfig on Fedora core 6. xmkmf seems to have worked correctly, but when I run make it spews our a long list of error messages, most of which I'm at a loss to understand (it looks like it's haveing trouble with the syntax in a lot of files) they generally look like:

resources.h:123: error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or '_attribute_' before
'fig_icon'

The thing at the begining and the command at the end change, however all the error messages have the same form.
