visualbasics /dreamwever clone in linux

hi i am going ICT at college and they have set me a task to do in my own time i have to make a small app with visual basics and i 8page website with DW so i was wondering if there was any linux native clones are if i would have to run them via wine

take a look at hbasic, kbasic, Gambas or Phoenix...
though I really hate VB. I do approve the use of Gamabs for very quick and Distry making programs with the VB language..

Go and check Bluefish.

See here for a list of Dreamweaver alternatives. I use Quanta for my website, but it you prefer a true WYSIWYG app then check out Amaya, TruStudio, or Kompozer. Nvu is no longer being developed. Kompozer is the new project picked up by the main Nvu developer.
