blender ,cinelerra and kino . all of them are opensource.

I heard of Blender, but anytime I try to go to their site I just get a blank white page. Nothing is shown.

This is since a long period ? probably the site there is some update on the site due to a new release , but blender is quite good 3D modeling .

Maybe it is updating, never seen a site go down due to an update though (cept for a site update) hopefully it comes back online, soon!

wish distro you are using you didn't find one recompiled from your package manager ?

I checked it yesterday and downloaded it. Been playing with it all day today. Getting no-where! Haha
