giFT problems on Slackware 10 dist

wow its been a long time since ive ran slackware. anyway, my problem is that ive installed giFT the OpenFT plugin and giFTcurs client but my "giftd" command wont execute giFT. I come up with this error:

    lance@MSHOME:~$ giftd
giftd: error while loading shared libraries: libgift.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

any suggestions please? thanks for all your help.

    Okay I figured it out...

for anyone else who has this problem this is all I had to do...

type "ldconfig" into a terminal, run gift. if it freezes just end the terminal and then open a new one. it will say that the something or other is allready connected to the domain or whever so all you have to do is type the command for you cliente (i used giFTcurs)

thanks for your time i hope that this will help somebody with the same problem.
