Pidgin Bug

Whenever I try to add a gmail account in PIDGIN its creating a XMPP protocol for the ID which I entered rather than creating a gtalk one. Pls help me to connect to gtalk by resolvin this problem.

You dont give enough information.
What were you doing exacly?
What is running in the background (Only imporant if its a real bug but I guess it isnt so you can leave this out for now)

If I read your text correctly I see that you: "Make a account for the XMPP Protocol" and that Pidgin makes it a Gtalk one?
If I understand you correcly I have to say that this is a very weird problem.
But to fix just change the Account and then it will work fine..

No when i add a gmail account Pidgin creates a xmpp account....i ll send u the snap shot of what exactly happens.........

Well, there is a accounts.xml file in the home/usr/.pidgin
folder.
You can just open that with Vi/Nano/Pico/Emac of whatever texteditor.
And change it to the type you want.
