elisa media center is awesome

How's interested in a good media center and easy to install try elisa , i've checked this program under Ubuntu 7.10 ( don't enable desktop effect with elisa ) and i liked this application a lot .

I had this running a while back on Feisty. It ran great (actually even with Desktop Effects). I must install it again on Gutsy. all of MacSlow's work is cool if you ask me, so by extension Fluendo are now pretty cool too. That and all the codec stuff too...

Using Windows

Elisa runs on Windows XP/Vista but we currently don’t support that platform well. There’s no Elisa stable release for Windows yet.

Why Linux developers have to release open source version of their applications for windows since the windows programmers don't release even a closed source version for Linux and other platforms .
