    Is there an application to set the PC clock on-line?

    If you mean while it is booted into linux then yes.. to manualy set the date/time you use the "date" command, check "man date" for info. It is possible to automaticaly update the system clock with "ntp"

    But unless you really need very acurate time settings then I would just set it manualy
