    Linux GPS Programs

Anyone use either GPSDrive or RoadMap, and if so which do you prefer?
I'm wondering about things like map detail, ease of map installation, easy of finding maps, Garmin compatability, reliability, etc...

I know GPSDrive lets you dl maps from the net, but how am I supposed to do that on the road? RoadMap seems to have maps by state for dl, but how good are they?

    Thanks,

hmmm... I'm not sure what you mean? I have a Garmin Rino 120 GPS reciever that plugs into the serial port.
