    YAST window from hell

I am using SuSE 9.1 personal; a problem recently popped up. When I sign on as root, the screen opens a full-screen yast window which appears to be fully functional. It has no move bar at the top but can be re-sized from the bottom right corner to reveal a bare welcome screen (no buttons, menus, etc.). When I close the window, the system switches back to the default user. Thus I am unable to log in as root. Any suggestions?

    Tnx, EEE

But how do you stop it....

I have a server that has been up for awhile
all a sudden, it has started opening YAST in a fullscreen view when logging in as root.

How do I stop this behavior.

The problem started after the system was rebooted.

I figured it out - on the Login screen - Under Menu _ Select a session type other than Admin (such as KDE)
