    Hi,
I'm looking for a program (deamon) that can run in background and keep an eye on a certain process. If the process stops (crashes) i want it to start it up again.

    Hi,
I dont know whether crond can do, how ever as far as am concerned, i know that crond is is for setting up task for schedules. like if u want an application to run during system start or shutdown.I think System monitor can do it for u, but i am not sure it will keep a process in a que format, i think i will show u wat is run at that time.
    I hope that helps

    Cheers
    Robin
