open office calc functions

I have no clue if someone will be able to answer this one here but I decided it was worth a try. I'm working on a large research project right now and need to be able to do nested if statements in calc so I can prepare a presentation (am going to be using the dataplot function as well). Here's an example of how I would use it in words.

Bank Size in $
I need to be able to check a cell to see if a bank size in $ is < 10,000, >10,000<20000, >20000<350000 or >50000 with outputs being "very small, small, medium, large". I know that there is a way in MS Office but don't want to have to boot into XP unless I REALLY have to Trying to shy away from it almost always at this point. Thanks in advance
