    i am the new user of linux, previously i have been using win for last 2years, so want to play my wmv files in linux. please give suggestion.

    You have to configure the livna repository by switching to root in a terminal and doing
    Code:
    rpm -Uvh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-8.rpm
    You can then use yum to install vlc, mplayer or xine. I personally prefer xine and vlc. You can install them by doing
    Code:
    yum install vlc xine xine xine-lib-extras-nonfree libdvdcss
