    I use Kopete mostly, allows access to all the common networks (MSN, Yahoo, IRC, AIM, ICQ and JABBER) It's also supposed to be able to send SMS, but i haven't worked that one out yet. I only really use it for MSN, but the good thing is (for me) as i'm just switching betweeen 2 MSN accounts, i can have both MSN accounts online at the same time in the program.

    kopete before a few days was acting strangely so i used amsn and aim programs (which i have downloaded seperately) instead of it..

    I had used Y! Messenger on Linux , but after Setting up Proxy it was not Working , So what will be Option ? - A stable Messenger ??

    i use gaim for aim. although, i haven't been using it too much recently.

    i chat on aim, and since the messenger aol has for *nix is absolutely horrible, i use gaim. kopete's ok, but gaim has more features i like and use.
