MPlayer 1.0pre5 Installation Error
Hi all. MPlayer 1.0pre5 won't install for me... I did ./configure, and everything went all right, but at the end of make install it gave me this error message:
I think that's where the compiling ended and the installation troubles began. Can anyone give me a hint about how to fix this?Code:ffv1.c: In function `encode_rgb_frame': ffv1.c:465: internal compiler error: in find_function_data, at function.c:329 Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <URL:https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/> for instructions. make[1]: *** [ffv1.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/MPlayer-1.0pre5/libavcodec' make: *** [libavcodec/libavcodec.a] Error 2
I'm using Mandrake 10 GNOME, and I'm a newbie. Explain things to me like I'm an AOL user (which I'm not, but I think the metaphor stands).
Thanks,
Shoal

The libavcodec folder is in the /MPlayer-1.0pre5 folder. However, libavcodec.a is nowhere to be found anywhere on my PC.
This is the third forum I've tried to get help from, but nothing seems to work. Er, well, not many have actually replied...
Thanks,
Shoal
