[SOLVED] vim, how to permanently set syntax on
hello
I use vi command, as vi chkfile.c
But the syntax color is not on, so I did :syntax on which highlights the syantax, bust as soon as I save the file and close vi, and start vi again, syntax highlighting is again off.
how can I permanently set it on.
i m on Ubuntu (fiesty 7.04)
