Find ebook reader for linux named "Reed"
I am trying to find and ebook reader for Ubuntu et al. I found a 2006 article describing Reed with a write up and alcolades. The links to the program and down load no longer seem valid NOTE: publishingcentral.com. I would like information on where to download the program so I can try it... Any assistance will be much appreciated.

I suppose the site is down because ebooks use DRM
and there is no legal free reader. No doubt that's
also why ebooks is a dead technology. It's locked in to
proprietary devices that no one wants to buy. A paperback
is cheaper. Anyway, it's illegal to crack them.

Thank you for the reply... I shouldn't have said ebook specifically. Actually there are several book files that "Reed" would work with including a lot of books in the public domain. When I use windows I use Microsoft Reader to Open the books and I am looking for the same functionality in a Linux program. Reed seemed to be a possibility from the article describing it...
