    I totally agree - Mplayer is much better

    don't forget to enable your dma and have your video card drivers installed

    you can see my guide for instructions on how to install mplayer

    also, ogle is a fine choice but as said, mplayer is a good competitor

    thanks for the help but i use mandrake 9.0 will it still work with mandrake rather than red hat or do i HAVE to use red hat...

    Hmm? MPlayer works on all distributions.

    yeah, I installed Mplayer on mdk 9.0 myself using the source and it worked perfectly.
