Digital Video Editing with Fedora Core 2?

New to Linux. Got myself a check list of things that Im working off, towards making the total migration from XP to Linux.

One of my hobbies include Digital Video Editing. I use Adobe Premier in Windows. Is there a program that functions in place of something like Premier? Or is there a way to make Premier work (correctly) inside Fedora?

    Just one of many questions.

You can get it to work using this application by CodeWeavers called Crossover Office, which costs some money.
