It all depends...Are you using your RedHat box as a PDC? Or just another node in a workgroup? If you want it as a PDC then you need to add the machines at the command prompt, and then join the domain as you would in Windows. If you want, shoot me an email, and I will send you my smb.conf file for help. Also have you tried SWAT? On RedHat, if it is installed, go into Server Settings->Services and turn it on, the in a web browser of your choice type localhost:901 SWAT is a pretty good tool for configuring a basic smb.conf
