    Puppy is a popular one:

    Have you tried it?

Depending on the amount of RAM you have, you may be able to run more than you think. I've got Fedora 8 running on a P3 right now, very few issues. Runs faster now than it did with Windows XP, in fact.

Puppy is a good choice and the developers stay on top of it. I was very impressed with it the last time I tried it. It's not really a "small" distro, but DeLi Linux might be something to consider as well...

    Hi, Bemk

You probably just missed it, but he says he's already tried that one and is looking for more.

VectorLinux is also small I think.

However, as someone says above, you might be able to run a more complete distro provided that you have enough ram. A p3 is not a bad machine for linux, of course it all depends on the programs that you use and the eye candy that you want to throw in.
