Burn DVDs in Linux?
On one of XP machines, I use DVD Shrink to copy DVDs. That machine is also my firewall. (I know, shouldnt be doing all that on a firewall!) I want to move it to Linux, but want to make sure I can still perform the same tasks it does now. I know Linux can be a fantastic firewall, but is there anything out there that will copy DVDs as DVD Shrink does? Thanks in advance for your input!

Currently there are three such sourceforge projects all of which are in very pre-alpha phase (as far as i know) however, dvd-shrink does run reasonably well under wine (check out xinex cvs for best performance) and you can use k3b to burn the data to a disk, It wokrs very well (aside the odd dvd-shrink bug) and i have done it myself quite often (for backup of legal movies only)
