PS Command Differences
I'm trying to find out what differences there are between 'ps' implementations across the different linux distributions.
Any suggestions on how to do this other than try each one? Is there any guarantee that it will be the same across a certain group of distros?
Thanks

Hi,
As far as I am aware on linux 'ps' should run the same, but I have not tried them all.
BSD - unix is slightly different or at least it used to be.

I am aware of BSD and Solaris being different...
So far, the linux distros i've tested on (RedHat and SUSE) are all the same, but I'd like to be as sure as possible and don't just want to make the assumption.
Thanks for the reply...
