Okay so I have a couple of issues with Evolution that I cannot find answer for. This is surprising because, in the past, most every issue has been thought of and resolved. I've come here for some help

I need to know what character encoding I should be using. It is set on default as Unicode UTF-8. I have seen threads on other sites say that they use different settings but no one has a "recommendation" as to what should be used. (I'm in the U.S. if that makes any difference).

Second, it appears that I have my mail setup to receive and display HTML emails but for some reason everything appears in plain text. Has anyone run into this? Is there some setting elsewhere I need to set to receive HTML?
