    Need a recomendation for IRC



    I'm a newbie using Debian.
    I've done an apt-cache search irc client and wow.

    Having come over from Wxxxxxs I was used to Mirc

    Any suggestions. Just trying to avoid any conflicts.

    My suggestion is to try them all until you find one you like and don't worry about any conflicts.
    You could also try ChatZilla, it's an IRC plugin for Firefox.
