Hi and welcome to the forum.
There is a script available on the web called ogg2mp3 that can help (check that its not in your distributions repositories first before downloading from the web).

Just a little point of fact here: it's generally not a good idea to transcode between lossy file formats. You're going to lose some sound quality along the way. I would recommend, if possible, that you re-rip the MP3s from their original source.

well ,you're right but the prog [audio CD extractor] i use rips the cd's automatically and the songs are in .oga type ...there is no option about changing the type!
do you know an other prog which i could use?
because i want to copy the songs to my ipod but it isn't compatible with .oga files !
