    website icon editor for slackware

    What I mean is those icons that are next to a website title eg. in firefox tabs (eg. a little penguin for linuxformums.org). Is there any software that I can use to create it.
    Well, I assume most gfx applications would do (eg. gimp), however what are requirements for such an icon (size, format, etc).

    There are lots of online websites that you can use to generate favicons. Check this link for some of them:

    favicon generator - Google Search

    I think you'll find some info there about tools you can install to create them as well.
