There're much layout programs for windows liken Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe InDesign or Quark XPress.
And hate to start Windows every time I want sth. to lay out.
Does anybody know another nice layout-program for linux (not wine ;-) ) ?

Trouble installling scribus
Hi, I am new to linux as well. I am trying to install scribus but have failed each time. I tried compiling it from source but when it launches it crashes. I tried the rpm package but it needs dependancies.
Any help?

Use Apt-Get, it should install everything for you.

Since your using Fedora try
Code:yum install scribus
