Exclamation ZIP incompatibility issue: need PK compat. v4.5 (can do v2.1)

    Hello,

I have one ZIP file that I cannot unzip using unzip. The error I get is : need PK compat. v4.5 (can do v2.1)

After investigations, it appears that this ZIP file is zipped as a ZIP64-document format, but unzip is apparently not able to unzip this (I am running v 5.52).

I have nowhere found a Linux application that is able to extract these kind of zip files. Does anyone have an idea about such an application?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I'm not sure if I was having the same issue, but I was having a similar one.

You might try to get the 7-zip tools for Linux. Under Ubunutu, I was able to apt-get them as p7zip. If you need to build them, you can find it at sourceforge. I would provide the link but since I'm new here, I can't post them yet.
