I am using FC2. I tried first to upgrade from RH9 to FC2 (netscape wouldn't even start). Then I installed a fresh copy of FC2 over the existing installation.
I have four computers connected to a router (192.168.1.1) and the router is connected to a DSL modem(192.168.0.1). The two of the computers are windoze and the other two are Linux (RH9 and FC2) the only one that has problems connecting is the FC2.

you know fc2 has a built in firewall, are you allowing traffic to go thru fc2?

The firewall in FC2 is disabled. I use the firewall in the router.

Sounds to me like you have a DNS problem. Is your DNS assined automatically from your ISP? If not, you need to enter it in manually. Also make sure that in the file /etc/resolv.conf 127.0.0.1 isn't the first line.
