Kmail: filters, addresses
I have a couple of questions about Kmail:
1.What is the difference between these two dialogue
boxes:
configure filters
configure pop filters
I read the help file, but not understanding.
One thing I want to do is have mail from a mailing list directed into a
separate folder.
2. question about address book:
When I compose a new message and chose 'select' I get a number of
entries in 'all'.
Some of these are mistakes I made in typing. Is there a way to get rid
of these entries?
Thanks

I don't use Kmail, but one set of filters is for imap mail and the other is for pop mail. You need to know which your webmail provider uses.

I think ....
configure filters is for filtering mail once it has been downloaded from the mail server, configure pop filters allows filtering of mail before download.
in menu select settings->configure kmail ... then select composer then select edit recent addresses ... that should let you remove entries you don't want.
Hope that helps
