Upgrading - Firefox v3.0 to v3.5
Hey all,
I am using an Ubuntu distribution and I would like to upgrade my Firefox 3.0 to the newer Firefox 3.5. I tried to find tutorials online but was left even more confused. All I want to do is to get my Firefox 3.0 upgraded to 3.5. I do not want both versions installed. I just want one. Also, I would like it if I could still play YouTube videos, Flash, multimedia and all that good stuff. I don't care much for bookmarks; that can go.
Can somebody walk me through how to do this?

This site is pretty self-explanatory. At least, it's unlikely we would be able to give clearer instructions.
If you don't want both versions of firefox, just uninstall 3.0.

I followed the instructions on the website you gave me. However, when I open my Firefox browser again, click on Help and About Firefox, it still tells me that I have version 3.0. How do I start using FireFox 3.5? Do I need to uninstall Firefox 3.0?

I did it when still in beta. I renamed the old firefox folder firefox.bak before I installed 3.5 and everything worked right away.
