thunderbird + IMAP + subfolders
I am using Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 on Slackware64 13. I used to use pop to get my gmail messages with thunderbird. I've switched to imap. Everything is fine apart from one thing. On the gmail webmail interface I created inbox subfolders for various groups of people. Now when I set it up in thunderbird, the subfolders were nicely reflected in thunderbird. The problem is that when I start thunderbird (or press 'check mail' button) it only checks for the mail in INBOX. To get the messages that have been filtered to particular subfolders I need to click on a given subfolder in thunderbird and only then it checks its contents for any updates. What may be the reason for it?
thanks

I managed to fix it.
Edit => preferences => Advanced => config editor => mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new (it's got the 'false' value by default)
