    wine problem on redhat9.0

    since i installed redhat9.0 and a new version of win with a rpm i can't start wine at all ... everytime i get the same message:

    wine: lstat /tmp/.wine-root/server-1607-289943/socket : No such file or directory

    but when i run ./winecheck it says that everything is fine (except that i was running the script as root)... does someone know what the problem is ???

    Try running this:

    rmdir /tmp/.wine-root/server-*
