    XChat theme

    I am running Linux MINT 7 and have only just started using XChat version 1.63. I would like to change the default xchat theme. I opened a terminal and typed: /home/username/.xchat2/. I know this is going to seem stupid but could someone tell me how i can get into the .xchat2 directory so that i can remove the colors.conf and pevents.conf files of the old theme please. Big thanks
