[SOLVED] How to update from firefox 3.0 to firefox 3.5 through yum
Hi Everyone:
Recently I have installed Fedora 10. It comes with firefox 3.xx by default. Now I was wondering if there is any way through which i can update it to 3.5 version though yum. I have tried
yum update firefox
but it did not work and returns following messages
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Setting up Update Process
No Packages marked for Update
I know that one way to update is download the latest Tar package and use it, but I want to totally remove my previous installation and use solely one package i.e. firefox 3.5.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi RobinVossen:
Thanks for your reply and time. Can you kindly guide me how can I add an extra Repo? Moreover, is it a safe procedure to do it like this? By safe I mean that is there any chance that this procedure will corupt my OS? Actually I'm just asking for my information because I am new to this Linux world and I really like things going smooooooooooooothly.
