Question [SOLVED] How to kill OfficeCalc?

OfficeCalc hangs when I try opening some of my .xls documents. When this happens I, no other OpenOffice application can be started. I do not know other solution than to restart my computer.

In System Monitor under the Processes tab, I see soffice.bin (status = uninterruptible). End Process button does not work on this one.

How can I kill OfficeCalc when it hangs like this?

    killall -9 soffice.bin

-9 sends KILL.. dont do this unless you can't do it any other way.

    Thanks, it works all right.

By the way, OO hangs only when I try opening the documents from my NFS storage.
Any ideas why is this happening?
