    Question NetworkManager and Gmixer are running in KDE - how to stop them?

    Hi,

    Every time KDE starts, it pops up a message saying that 'another network manager is running', how can I prevent NetworkManager from starting?

    Also, Gmixer is running together with KDE mixer and also in Gnome together with Gnome Mixer.
    How can I prevent Gmixer from starting?

    Hoping this is the right forum for this question.

    Also, any mixer in Gnome does not have menu and it I can't find a way to set up channels in them. How can I access menu of the mixers in Gnome?

    I was told that solution is to use KDE system configuration to disable autostart of unwanted programs
