    MythTV troubles

I built a box tobe a PVR setup, decided I'd go the linux route and grab MythTV or Freevo and right now wanna setup MythTV. I'm running Suse 9.1 personal.

I've tried following the "how to" docs for mythtv but I get confused by them.

    I know I need

    mysql
    gcc
    freetype2 devel
    Xfree86 devel
    qt devel
    lame

using YAST I got the freetype, xfree, qt and gcc packages. I also got some mysql stuff, but i'm not sure if thats enough or if i need more for it. I also need lame still.

So what do I need as far as mysql goes?

lame is just a mp3 encoder right? i dont see a linux version to dl.

I'm hoping after this I'll have all the dependencies set and this will go much easier.

    Thanks
