WM that can run on a computer with 16MB of ram?

blackbox is always a winner. there are many others, but i would personally run blackbox or another *box wm on that machine.

You can also try KDE v1.2 or Gnome v1.
Should work.

Blackbox, WindowMaker or Fluxbox would be my choices. I ran WindowMaker on an IBM Aptiva (Pentium 90mHz) with 12MB of RAM and a 4MB VGA card.

so fluxbox would probably work? because someone told me that it wouldnt. Im a big fan of flux so i think ill try that.
- 10-28-2004 #7I can't think of why it wouldn't. Fluxbox is just blackbox with more features, and it doesn't add enough features to be considered a "heavyweight" WM...
