    kdevelop 2.1

    I'm having a problem in kdevelop regarding creating new files. The icon to create new file is not clickable. I haven't installed all the tools needed by kdevelop. Could this be the reason behind this problem?

    At least in the version of Kdevelop im using, the new file icon in the toolbar doesnt become clickable until you create a new / load an old project by going to Project > New.

    I found out that a project needs to be created before anything is done in kdevelop. Do you know how to add line numbers and show tab spaces?
