    Thunderbird fails to start

    Hi,
I have just downloaded thunderbird, but when i run it fails to start up and i get this instead:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: XDM authorization key matches an existing client!

    (thunderbird-bin:6016): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

I've tried installing it from an rpm as well but i get the same error when i run it.
I'm running SuSE 9.1, any help would be great, thanks.
