Hi all,
i am trying to modify an agent behavior, in such a way that when the snmpd process receives an OID request, i will return a modified response.

for example:
an agent receives a request for 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1 (ifNumber).
instead of responsing with the the real answer, i would rather want to respond with the value 8888.

i used the exec/extend/sh parameters in the snmpd.conf. and it still don't work.
