    Help Convert Powerpoint to Movie

    Hello!

    I wanted to upload a powerpoint presentation to youtube but apparently it needs to be converted to a video format first.

    Does anybody know of a linux based free software that can help me achieve the purpose please?

    There seems to be a few on the net but they are for sale. I'm afraid I am not ready to spend for this particular feature at the moment.

    You can probably use ffmpeg. Capure the screens of the presentation and those you can use with ffmpeg to generate a video, including a flash or mpeg video.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
