GNOME Inform for Linux Lpia Architecture?
I recently tried installing GNOME Inform for Linux on my lpia architecture ubuntu netbook remix-running netbook, only to get the error message:
dpkg: error processing gnome-inform7_5Z71-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb (--install):
package architecture (amd64) does not match system (lpia)
Errors were encountered while processing:
gnome-inform7_5Z71-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
I have not been able to find a Lpia archive, although I will keep on looking. Is there anything else I could do, or could someone direct me to an Lpia archive? I'm specifically trying to get the GUI version of Inform, not the Command-Line version.
Thanks!

Unless you can find someone who has already built the package for lpia architecture, you will likely need to compile it yourself.
You can get the source code here.
Ubuntu dropped official support for lpia with 10.04. Prior to that, you can find lpia repos at ports.ubuntu.com.
Your /etc/apt/sources.list should look something like
Replace intrepid with which Ubuntu version you have. But I don't think GNOME Inform is in there.Code:deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ intrepid main restricted universe multiverse deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ intrepid-updates main restricted universe multiverse deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ intrepid-security main restricted universe multiverse deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/netbook-remix-team/ubuntu intrepid main
