    Help regarding Gstreamer-0.10

    Hi! I am facing a problem regarding Gstreamer-0.10. I need to convert stereo to mono and for that purpose I am unable to find the plugin stereo2mono. Can any body help me find the plugin or is there any other alternative???

    Hi,

    you can specify the number of channels of your audio stream, i.e.:

    filesrc location=song.mp3 ! ffdemux_mp3 ! ffdec_mp3 ! audioconvert ! audio/x-raw-int,channels=1 ! alsasink

    after audioconvert insert the format you want your stream comes out of it.
